Hi everyone,
After long break from my creative work (sorry for being so quiet – personal life & calendar full of brides and photo-shoots was more important and return to blogging and creative work become harder and took longer then I planned) …but I have something new to share with you.
I currently started to practicing more creative looks that involving airbrushing, body painting and textured make-up. So I decided to show you how really full backstage of making of some creative looks lookalike, my process of learning and practicing. Creative make-up its all up to our imagination, techniques and tools available, it may go fast and looks stunning if created on model on set, but people normally don’t see all this whats behind it – process of researching, props, preparations, and testing all products/techniques on our self/models/friends. Creative practicing, experimenting is also important to get your imagination more flexible… If you mix different styles, products, techniques and this includes craft, diy products & techniques e.g. paper craft…(but not limited to – I mix also other DIY techniques that I found trough researches). Nobody actually shows and speaks about amount and time spend over learning and improving technique…so hope that my videos give you glimpse and at last partially idea how does it looks like…
All upcoming recording videos will be made in dual recording, note I am still trying to workout perfect setup so further dates and time would not be confirmed yet…but this will change it further – so
1st. is live stream at Facebook Page via my ipad – DorotaMUA, Life stream at Facebook could be great for all of you who wish to see full process step by step -& if you wish to ask live about products, details, techniques or other stuff, will try my best, may be very long, sometimes first try has to be longer as you need to test what works, what not working well and make adjustment in look to that –
2nd recording at my camera (that it’s setup next to my ipad now) – better quality for You Tube uploads, short version, would be great for all of you who don’t like long tutorials…but want see it step by step.
I am aware my voice is not perfect for videos and commenting, and even more recording+going make-up+ talking (live too) makes me really stressed…but everyone started in some point – however I hope you will like my videos and you will enjoy it.
Soo far now I made 3 looks
1. Pink-Purple airbrushed look (video at FB is live, YT edit & upload in progress)
2. Blue-turquoise – unfortunately FB blocked the video due to copyright of one song in background, now I use copyright fee songs to prevent it…-for YT its easier as music is easier to replace even after upload…anyway full look is uploaded to FB and YT so you can watch it now.
3. Burgundy-gold oriental look + headpiece made of crape paper. I am currently happy owner of brand new cutting machine so all stencils and gold filigree details are bespoke & cut by me (well…my machine…), note: also all stencils – I haven’t purchased it anywhere. Thanks to my new machine I can upload specific designs, files and re-design it if needed, so this look was big test after first use of my new DIY stencils and paper cut.
Video post live stream is on FB (two parts 1st is applying gold Mehron metalic pigment. Second shows full look step by step.
Video editing and upload for YT is in progress.
ps. I am sorry but embed option from FB produce silly extra space under each video…
4. And extra video from my test that I made a while ago, one of the very first test after taking 1-to-1 body-painting airbrush training – with my good friend – fellow Make-up Artist Anna Czarniecka as a model.
Hope you will like it. Only uploaded to You Tube.
I hope you enjoyed if so far, If yes let me know – I would be more than happy to know it – and make sure you follow my YT channel and FB page and turn on notifications for all upcoming videos! – I hope to record new look every second/third week …there would be longer gap around Halloween season – but except that I hope that busy graphic would not stop me…
You are so talented ,thank you for inspiring me to do a creative look again. I haven’t done one in a while .Greetings from Germany Martina
