I was forced to ditch my blog for a while…but heyyy… I am back and its time to change it little bit and post some news.
In London Olympia was organised once again IMATS 2015 (10-12 July) and of course I had to be there! – My recap post from IMATS 2014 you can see HERE, for IMATS 2014 – haul click HERE. My IMATS 2015 haul would be uploaded shortly so stay tuned!
My way IMATS start at Friday night, as I travelled from Leeds to London via MegaBus – I was out from Leeds at 2:45am and arrived London at 8am, IMATS starts at 9am this year, finish at 5am – so pretty much long day for me.
I had a very enjoyable time at the International Make-up Artist Trade Show… however I found it less busy as IMATS 2014. This year I didn’t had big wish list to buy, but I record that many products has been already sold out in Friday 10th July – at Pro event… My main target this year was: ZOEVA brushes, Nanshy Brushes and their brush holder, face correcting primers, possibly few pigments… I was hoping to get some Inglot pigments, but sadly their current range is out of my colour target – and the same as every year I was looking forward to see seminars with masters and also creative presentations created on each booth.
It was also noticeable that show wasn’t over crowded like in past years, but also clearly was just few blogers, vlogers and definitely less of famous people from industry if compared to IMATS 2014… I know that some just decided to visit Sunday event in very last minute… So I was feeling all day like: “I am missing something…?” and I had lack of excitement… its was hm… calm, quiet – too quiet for this high range of show…(?!)
So here for you my photo relation from IMATS:
Make-up Studio have fabulous products and colours, sadly a lot was sold out in Friday.
Their baked eyeshadows are highly pigmented! absolute rainbow!
Inglot once again had enormous range! Massive range of products and testers….awww! Make-up Heaven!
Well done to the team for managing with provide great service for that huge number of clients!
I absolutely enjoyed time and chat with Nanshy team.
I love their brush tubes (have now set of 3 in my kit!) but for the first time I had chance to get see their brushes and touch it! And I have to admit I am positively surprised with quality!
Crown Brush – the same as every year – offered huge range of brushes.
Their team also had creative presentation – and surprise: this brand goes forward and recorded entire work from artist point of view plus video cam set on side – probably for live steaming…
(but I admit I haven’t check that with their team)
I was little bit disappointed with Kryolan – In my opinion they far less testers and products if compared to their past years…
Trough all day it testing, testing, testing!
Bellow swatches of Grafrobian Metallics and liquid-glitters!
And now Best part! Make-up and creative work that made me oh-ah!!
