Freque Magazine is a monthly international (print and digital) magazine for photographers, models and fashion designers. It’s goal is to inspire and intrigue its readers with unique, weird, strange and unusual photography and fashion. Features fashion designers, photographers & models with outstanding yet strange concepts!I am delighted and absolutely excited to share with you that my work called “The Cult of Blood” – made together with Marian Wodzisz Photography and our phenomenal (star!!) model – SINderella Rockafella – have publishing inside Freque Magazine vol 6 part 1 – January 2014!Even bigger surprise – our work was selected to be front page!!! – Editor selects the photo for front and back page from all submission that are published in each volume, however their rule is that it’s surprise every time who would be selected until Freque Magazine would be launched! So front page is real surprise every time!
You can order Freque Magazine on-line or in paper or digital version – you can do it here !
This look was our secret for a long time due to publishing regulations. We made it in November and it a long some time to attach this to the body, but whole process took really really long time to finish – creating this look took roughly 5 hours. To cut the time in shooting day I had to design and prepare special sfx materials. I used DIY moulds to shape the wounds – which have been made from flexible sfx materials. All materials incl. blood are fully cosmetic grade. The glass obviously is not real glass – it is just acrylic pieces broken by Marian to get the look of broken glass. The problem with acrylic was that it acts differently than glass – and here comes…Marian and Mr Photoshop. 🙂 It took few+ hours to shape/colour correct the image, add detail etc and achieve this almost[?] glass look.
We have huge set of photos and close up’s from this photoshoot – to see more follow our Facebook Pages and stay tuned!
