Every Make-up Artist many times have to work under pressure & with lack of space – it’s part of our work. There is many ides that could cut the time, save space in our toolbox, workspace and also can make few kilograms lighter our big tool kit. This smart ideas are also best solution for every women personal kit/cosmetic storage!
If buy often single, duo or ready made mini palettes eyeshadows, single blushes, bronzer – Opening single eyeshadows or many little palettes, blushes can take more time – it also takes more space in your toolbox and workspace, travel case, hand bag – depot your eyeshadows in to magnetic palettes or get ready own convenient sets.
Find best palette for tool kit/handbag and select size best your hand size – some people likes plastic, acrylic palettes, metal palettes e.g. MAC -but for some people this are too big an inconvenient, specially for personal short travel when you need only small set. I personally found this palettes too big for my toolbox. In my opinion metal cases e.g. MUFE and acrylics e.g. Inglot are more solid than the plastic one…
Many brands offers good quality magnetic palettes – and it gives freedom in creating own sets e.g. MAC, Art Deco, Inglot, Kryolan, ! You can have even bigger freedom if you will use magnetic palette without dividers e.g. MUFE or DIY palette (how to make DIY palettes see my other posts)!
TIP: Keep your eyeshadows separate : nude/browns and colours – in most situation this also will save your time. However for personal travel is more convenient to have mix of favourite colours incl. blush or bronzer.
Having magnetic palettes could be beneficial also for your pocket – If you use more often one colour, buying single refill is cheaper then whole palette.
You got all rainbow 🙂

Yes, on the beginning I had regular toolbox from b&q – £29.98. I have it till now, It’s really strong. http://www.diy.com/nav/fix/tool-storage-workbenches/tool-boxes/tool_boxes/B-and-Q-Aluminium-Storage-Case-Silver-Effect-9371872?utm_campaign=bazaarvoice&utm_medium=SearchVoice&utm_source=RatingsAndReviews&utm_content=Default
From 1 year I got new one – twice bigger/deeper – so I can keep all products upright position e.g. foundations, sprays etc. fit’s 3/4 of my typical kit. I bought it for £20! at trade show Olympia Beauty in London. http://www.olympiabeauty.co.uk/
Depend what you are looking for, and your budget – it’s huge choice of cases, trolleys ending of full sets incl. backpacks – you need to find your favourites…
Curently is big boom for ZUCA cases but for my kit it’s too small, and far too expensive – and I like comfy toolbox, instead lot’s of compartment…it’s more practical to me if I got tiny workspace…
